HIIiiiiii guysszzzz can't tell you how good it feels to have unlimited internet access again e.e
We did way too much stuff for me to recap all of it, but here are a few quick things I bet you don't know about Japan:
1. The crosswalk is referred to as "the zebra zone"
2. French fries are both a breakfast option as well as a fancy dinner choice at buffets
3. Slurping your noodles is considered to be good manners. If you eat them silently, the host assumes you don't like it
4. There. Are. No. Public. Trashcans. Anywhere. Not even in restaurants or public bathrooms. I had to keep all of my wrappers and empty soda cans in my purse, and it started turning really gross near the end of the trip q.q
Here is our group! I'm in this picture herpderp. Take a guess 8D
Tokyooooooo
Japanese countryside; Ibaraki prefecture
A traditional Japanese dance and ceremony on the 3rd day of Obon Festival. This group of locals traveled to different temples and shrines throughout the day to perform the ceremony.
This panel was on the side of the toilet at my hotel in Tokyo. As you can see, there is clearly a button that is intended for "butt spray" ahahah
LETS DO THE VEGETABLE DANCE
That's all for now!
See you later <3

Patreon!
Hey guys! I am SO excited to announce that I’ve joined Patreon and now have an outlet to support my work! Here’s the link.
My name is Kat Tsai and I am a Vis Dev Artist at Dreamworks TV with a passion for color, atmosphere, and capturing a moment in an illustration. I feel really lucky to be where I am now, having been born and raised in Virginia, far away from the hub of animation. Unlike a lot of my peers who had the foresight to go to an animation school, I had never even heard of schools like CalArts until I was already 20 years old. I ended up graduating from Carnegie Mellon in Pittsburgh with a bachelor’s degree in Ps
I'm Back!
After a two year hiatus from dA I'm back on the site! I've archived many of my older works and uploaded some of the new stuff I've been doing since then.
A quick catchup on what I've been doing: In summer 2017 I applied for an internship at Cartoon Network and got it! I worked on both Apple & Onion and Mighty Magiswords as a production intern. Then in winter 2017 I graduated and then moved to Los Angeles to start a new job working as a visdev artist at Dreamworks TV, which is what I've been doing ever since. Now it's July 2018 (and almost my birthday) and it feels like so much stuff has changed. I can't believe only a little while ago I
Moving On
Hi guys,
As I'm sure some of you may have noticed, I haven't been posting much here recently! I feel like the things that I draw and my interests have been changing, and so I've mostly moved on to posting my art onto other sites. With that said, I'll still be around to check on my messages and notes from time to time, and maybe I'll even find time to post my newer work as well! DeviantArt has a lot of good memories for me and perhaps I'll return in the near future. Until then, here are the links to all of the places I post and update regularly, and places where you can find and talk to me!
Thanks for always being around and supporting me ev
